It took me way too long to realise I was an entrepreneur. That God had made me a lot more resilient than I realised, and a lot more capable than I realised. Not that I have never made any mistakes - I have made many upon many - and then many more, but that is why we have friends and mentors to cheer us along the way! Thank God!
14 years ago I left corporate, a job I loved, to become a Mum - a job I loved even more. Then came crunch time and the yearning to start building something. I learnt that I was great at building, having loads of amazing ideas and the capacity to pull them off if I wanted to ...... but I needed to focus.
Over the last 8 years I have started businesses and helped build countless other business for clients. Currently I hold:
- 3 Online Stores
- a Digital Marketing Company
- in start up phase for a couple of new businesses, including global distribution with Amazon.
I have been blessed to have solid friends and mentors in Steve and Susie and Brian and Helen, who have advised me in business (other than digital 🙂 ) and direction. Not to mention an amazing stable who cheered me on even when there were times that were a little bleak.
I have also been blessed to have an amazing husband who 'let me do what I must do', because 'I know it is going to work!'.
As I mature in age and wisdom, my passion as a business owner is definitely fueled by my Father and His passion for people and generations to come. Understanding more of His Heart, Laws and Kingdom dynamics has opened my eyes to the bigger picture - what my mandate is and the legacy I have been called to leave.
I see aHb as the continual grassroots group it has always been. Encouraging and accelerating business people in making smart decisions for their business based on revelation-knowledge to effectively manage market fluctuations, financial pressures, staff, contractors and the work/family balance.
I know aHb will continue to see amazing acts of heroism and celebrate victories that are outrageous - just because ordinary men and women choose to believe and obey God for their future.
